Since 1994, Woodridge Interventions has been serving adults and adolescents from the greater Chicago area and throughout the Midwest by treating a wide variety of addictions and co-occurring disorders in both residential and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plan for individuals struggling with substance abuse.
- Provide addiction counseling services to clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Stay current on best practices in substance abuse treatment and attend relevant training sessions to enhance skills.
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
- Work closely with individuals and their families to address underlying issues contributing to substance abuse and promote long-term recovery.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders.
- Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
